24-015 Beaver Dam Water Association – CONT. NO. 1 – SYS. WIDE WATER METER REPLACEMENT #17234

Beaver Dam Water Association will receive sealed proposals at the office of Beaver Meadow Water Association located at 20 Arley Williams Road, Heidelberg, Mississippi, until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 for “Beaver Dam Water Association – Contract No. 1 – System Wide Water Meter Replacement”, also known as Engineer's Project No. 24-015, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

All proposals shall be directed to the attention of Curtis Lewis, Board President, with the outside of the envelope marked "Bid Proposal for Beaver Dam Water Association – Contract No 1 – System Wide Water Meter Replacement.” Contractor shall indicate certificate of responsibility number on the outside of the envelope.

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors, and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs.

Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG). Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board, nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with RWAIG Program Regulations.

Basis of Award: The award, if made, will be to the lowest qualified bidder on the Base Bid Amount. The Owner intends to accept the lowest and best bid and reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.

A Certified check or Bid Bond for FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the total bid payable to Beaver Dam Water Association must accompany each proposal.
